Appearance:
Hazama is a tall, lightly tanned man with green hair and yellow cat eyes that he keeps closed all the time. The only times he opens these is when Terumi takes over his mind, or when he wishes to manipulate people.
His body is well trained and muscular, while being lean and slim. His outfit is the standard Intelligence Officer uniform, a black tuxedo-like outfit with a square tie, a black vest and a medium length, thin black coat as well as a fedora hat. Additionally, he wears special leather gloves to protect his hands when he´s throwing knives in rapid sucession.
Loyalty:
Hazama is loyal to no one but himself. If theres anyone he´d actually feel some loyality for, that would be the Imperator Librarius, but even she could be pushed aside easily would she interfere with his own plans.
Personality:
Terumi is a man who simply wants to see the world burn, who was corrupted and driven mad by the Susannooh armor centuries ago and seeks revenge upon anything immortal and mortal.
Hazama`s personality however is a bit more complex- Kazuma has never been popular as a person, generally people avoided him and his evil aura. The only one who didn´t was Trinity Glassfille.. someone who Terumi later used to kill Nine with. Hazama loves women, but he loves to kill them even more. He loves to kill all sorts of people, though only after he destroyed their lives. At first glance, Terumi and Hazama are inseperateable- though Terumi has a definite character trait or being loud, swearing quite often and being far more agressive and bloodthirsty than the civilized, calm and amused persona that is Hazama.
Unlike Terumi, Hazama does have a person he does not want to kill or harm.... Ragna´s sister Saya, whom he´s taken quite a liking of, though he refuses to admit it- both to himself and to her.
Weaponry:
Hazama`s main weapon in battle is the Nox Nyctores Oroburos, a pair of gravity knives that are curved for a better cutting angle. While their main use is to shoot out a chain with a snake´s head that can latch onto anything, even air, and propell him into that certain direction, the Oroburos have the ability to attack a person´s mind and torment him or her significantly.
In addition to that, he`s got steel tipped shoes and a vast arsenal of throwing knives in his coat pockets.
Abilities:
Terumi is nearly immortal, as he is basically just the soul of a dead being. The body he´s currently using is kept alive by the power of the Azure- additionally, he`s got multiple life links keeping him in shape in case something actually life threatening occurs to him. And even if his body would die, he can leave it and occupy another person... any person with a weak mind can be his prey.
As he is, Terumi is a masterful knife fighter as well as a martial artist- his close combat style resembles the Capoceria, in which his moves imitate dancing, but its more custom than that- imitating the dancing style of the late Micheal Jackson. Terumi can throw knives accurately, slice and cut things to mincemeat in seconds and carve them up into thin filets. Breaking bones is easily done by his superhuman strength, aided by the fact that his body is anything but human, created for him specifically by Relius Clover using the techniques and augmentations of the Murakumos- which let him survive the Edge with nearly no lasting damage at all... except for his sanity, as the timid Kazuma Kval had finally snapped and broken down into what is now known as Hazama.

When he activates his Azure, Hazama can regenerate his stamina quickly and can actually suck the souls out of people within a certain radius- which is evident by glowing green symbols. His speed and strength increases tenfold, as well.
History:
While Terumi´s origins reach too far back to be traceable, it is known that he once posessed the Susanooh unit- long before it was unearthed at what could be marked as the beginning point of the Dark War, when the first Cauldron was found. As such, his body was absorbed by the armor and his soul was forced to stay as its host for eternity, in exchange for unlimited power. Terumi found a way to break loose before the remaining rest of his sanity would be consumed by his endless existance, but then found out he hadn´t quite found an end yet...
He seeked to destroy Amaterasu, blaming it for his problems as it was created for the Susannoh unit, and eventually found the genius mind of Relius Clover, whom he prusuaded to make a unique, strong, invincible body for him that was actually somewhat human, unlike the featureless white armor.
That is where Hazama`s story starts, as Kazuma Kval, first year student of the Mage´s association. He was a bookworm by the true meaning of the word, spending the majority of his time reading, as he was socially awkward and generally avoided by the people around him. Trinity, however, seeked him out, seeing that his true problem was his fear of people and his lacking social skills. Kazuma quickly fell in love with her, but felt like he never had what it takes to ask her out. He felt like he wasn´t right for her.
Thats when Terumi appeared in his mind, giving him an alternative choice. All he´d have to do is give him a chance.. he`d make her fall madly in love with him, in exchange for the key to the Lynchpin, Caelica.
Unable to resist, Kazuma accepted, and as Terumi battled Jubei´s brother, who was protecting Caelica from him, the Magister Nine sealed him with a magic spell right after he dealt the death blow to Tomori.
From that point on, Terumi had to serve Nine without a free will as her slave, forced to do the dirty work as the Black Beast emerged and ravished the land.
Terumi was a part of the six heroes, but he never really belonged in that group- he was just brought in by Nine, who deemed him fit for this task. With observant eyes he met a man named Bloodedge, a true hero with a black burden on his shoulders whom the Key was really fond of. Fortunely for him, the Black Beast took care of him, Terumi didn`t have to stain his knife... as the Dark War ended, it didn´t take him long to break free of the binding spell and disappear for a while... as he came back, Nine had given birth to a child and married Jubei, but that didn´t keep him from killing her, using Trinity as a host body, who commited suicide as she came back to her senses.
Devastated by this, the remaining Heroes seeked him out and fought him with all their might, but despite this, Hakumen had to give his own life just to seal him away, as it seemed impossible to kill him.
That was supposed to be the end of the story, but it was not.
Many years later, a young girl named Saya had reached a terrible fever, and it looked like she might die.
That moonlit night, she cursed all of humanity in her thoughts, cursed everything and anything, including her brother who prolonged her pain by treating her.
At the same time, the young brother Jin felt envious of Saya, who had all the attention of Ragna for herself, and thought to himself that she should just disappear... maybe, if Ragna felt the pain he felt, maybe he would understand what it meant to be ignored like this...!
Sayas immense and uncontrollable hatred for the world and all of its inhabitants was enough fuel for Terumi´s fire, and he remerged from the Edge, taking over her body to take the weapon that was buried under the shrine, Yukianesa, and gave it to Jin, whom he then took the form of, chopping Ragna´s arm off and setting the shrine on fire, burning their nursing mother, the Key he had sought for, alive.
Only then, Terumi came into sight as he truely was, before Ragna... to remind him of who he is and what he stands for, taking Jin and Saya with him.
