Name: Ragna The Bloodedge
Alias: Grim Reaper, "Good Guy"
Gender: Male
Age: Early Twenties
Race: Human
Appearance: Quite the imposing figure despite what the art from the bounty posters would suggest. A solidly built frame honed from years of training with the "Strongest being" to walk the planet. Alabaster hued visage creating a complexion of pale purity, unmarred by any blemish or scarring and quite the contrast to certain artwork. Silver mane sat in a mess atop his head, spiked and swept back to avoid obscuring his vision and giving him a somewhat unkempt appearance. Eyes of differing colors betray a unique nature, heterochromic qualities granting the left eye the color of emerald and the right a carmine flare.
Prosthetic appendage was different than any other, a source of power, a blessing and a curse. The "azure grimoire" grafted onto the right stump of an arm that remained after the original had been amputated, forming a gauntlet of sorts which was simply the manifestation that best suited it in the situation for it's wielder. The body of it's owner now a cage for the beast that lurked within, granting power but at a great cost.
Clothing of choice: A red jacket, a gift from his mentor Jubei and one of two items granted that once belonged to the unsung hero of the Dark War, "Bloodedge", a monniker Ragna now wears proudly. The term baggy could be used to define his clothing in one word, explaining the loose fitting garments he wore. A black shirt, lined with silver trim remained sealed, forming a high collar around his neck. Upon his legs, "hakama" like pants would provide enough cover for the vigilante. He wore red shoes with the ends plated with metal, much like the sleeves of his jacket. Two large belts hung loosely on his hips, not tightened to provide any support for his clothing, but more than likely to provide a proper resting place for his blade.
Loyalty: Himself
Occupation: Unemployed which is likely to remain the case due to his position as a SS criminal.
Personality: Ragna has a rougher exterior in comparison to most. A man with a vulgar mouth who has no qualms with swearing even if he surrounded by women and children. The Grim Reaper keeps everyone at arm's length, avoiding any connections that he can and rarely giving trust to anyone except a rare select few. His distrustful nature stems from his childhood and for good reason due to the events that had occurred the night the church he lived in burned to the ground. He tends to anger easily and depending on the situation can behave in an irritable manner, however most of the time, his own anger is generally used to hide his other emotions.
In truth he is not a bad-guy at all, although his desire for revenge seems to be his primary motive, he never allows it to endanger innocent lives unless they step between him and his goal. There is a softer side to this gruff male, shown when he willingly steps between a blade and a friend or pushes them away to protect them. One of his most impressive personality traits is his deterimination, the resolve to never give up. Even an inch from death, Ragna will urge himself forward perservering until life leaves his body.
Weaponry:
Blood-scythe: The second of two items that belonged to Bloodedge and that was passed down to Ragna. Despite it's name, the weapon is typically seen as a massive sword with a long black handle. Capable of holding it's own against nox nyctores and refusing to dull even when pitted against the armor of murakumo units. The sword's blade is capable of flipping outward to alter the weapon into a form more fitting for it's name-sake. When it takes this scythe shape, the weapons reach extends greatly and provides a more adequate tool for harvesting the life energy of others when used in combination with the 'Azure Grimoire'.
Azure Grimoire:Noted as the most powerful of all grimoire's in existence. Despite being called a grimoire, its form is not that of a book, but rather a high-density mass of concentrated seithr similar to the Black Beast. It has no fixed form. It originally had the form of a jet black rock shaped in the fashion of a human without a head when it was in the possession of Rachel Alucard. After Ragna the Bloodedge touched it, it crumbled, turned into a mist, swallowed him in darkness, and then took the form of his right arm, despite still having the same obsidian blackness. Because it requires life force to function, Ragna absorbs life from other people.
Abilities:
Azure Grimoire:Thanks to the power of the 'Azure Grimoire' Ragna is far more resilient than most and can survive what most would consider fatal wounds, capable of healing such injuries within a short period of time. The power of the 'Azure' also increases his offensive capabilities, manifesting as dark energy that that can be manipulated by Ragna and doubling his already impressive strength along with his speed and stamina. It's most threatening trait is more of an requirement than a ability, the grimoire needs the souls of others to utilize it's full potential. The power to absorb the life force of other beings to heal it's wielder is a useful capability but not something it's current owner is too thrilled about. Ragna prefers to protect life rather than steal it.
Combat Specialist: Through years of training with Jubei, Ragna's combat capabilities have increased to the point where he is considered one of the most dangerous men alive. Utilizing a unique style by merging the power of the Azure Grimoire with the sheer size and weight of the Blood-scythe, Ragna can unleash a torrent of frightful damage while sapping away the life of his opponent in the process. Even without his weapon, he is more than capable of fighting hand-to-hand when necessary.
Survival Expert: Ragna has managed to survive for long periods of time in complete solitude, preferring to be alone during his travels even while being hunted by the NOL. He understands how to keep a low profile by either utilizing Ars Magus to hide himself or simply sticking to the roads less traveled.
History:
When he was young, Ragna lived in a church with his younger siblings Jin and Saya, and was watched over by the sister of one of the Six Heroes. At some point, Saya became very ill and Ragna decided to look after her, and in turn spending less time with his brother. Jin eventually grew jealous of Saya for being able to spend a lot of time with Ragna, and he began to hate her.
The burning church Soon after Saya became sick, the church was burnt down by Jin and Yūki Terumi, who also cut off Ragna's right arm and kidnapped Saya. He was later found by Jubei of the Six Heroes where he proceeded to train Ragna on how to control the power of his newly acquired Azure Grimoire which replaced his lost arm and repeatedly stated that although the item was a part of him now, the power was not his to command yet. For the next few years, Jubei trained Ragna to control the power of the Azure, being periodically watched by Rachel, who requested Jubei to take care of him. During the time, he met Taokaka as a child. When his training was at last complete, Ragna had finally come to the decision to depart on his journey.
Ragna obtains the jacket and sword but before the three would part ways, Jubei took Ragna to the burnt down church and handed Ragna two items once belonging to a hero named Bloodedge: his jacket and the sword - Blood-Scythe. Feeling the weight of the man that gave hope to the world and the Six Heroes, Ragna finally takes off, his training now complete.
Ragna has a deep hatred for the Novus Orbis Librarium, and travels from city to city destroying their bases; due to this, he has become a world-known criminal and has a bounty on his head "large enough to buy a small country", according to Jin. Despite this, he seems to travel through cities by night without much fear of being detected or captured by the NOL or any vigilantes.

The bark of the tree was solid, rough and uncomfortable but after the long period of time he had been standing, walking through these woods, it felt as comfortable as a soft pillow. A soft sigh emitted from between his lips as he situated himself between two large roots which had erupted upward slightly from the damp soil below. "Goddamnit..." A crude word muttered with no other ears around, as if he was speaking to the hidden wild-life. "I figured Kagutsuchi would be in sight by now." At this rate, he was starting to doubt his original belief that he would be able to reach the 13th Hierarchical city by nightfall. This moment of rest was short, and soon the silver haired male was back on his feet, brushing himself off and gazing off between the tree's. "Just another cauldron." A smile curved at his lips as he knew that very soon he would be able to destroy another branch of the NOL and that monstrosity within it's depths. "Well, I guess I can't stand around here all day." Man known as the Grim Reaper, the SS Class criminal, Ragna The Bloodedge was on his way right into enemy territory.
