-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Kiyoka Amenomiya (The spirit of her spear's rod is named Melvin)
Gender: Female.
Age: 18.
Race: Human.
Appearance: Kiyoka is a red-eyed young girl of short frame, heighing at 163 cm (5'4") and weighing 52 kg (114.5 lbs). She ties her waist-length red hair in a single ponytail using a little black ribbon.
When Melvin takes over, a small red vertical line appears on the middle of her forehead, and the surrounding skin appears warped towards said line. Melvin also grows 20 pounds in muscle mass, and leaves the hair loose, showing that it becomes spiked.
Clothing of choice: When not working, Kiyoka wears classic jean shorts, and a loose pink hoodie. When on the job, she sports more remarkable clothing: a dark red robe with frills under the back area, a pink short pleated skirt, white sleeves with a red hemstitch to end the wrist extremities, dark red boots adorned with one ruby at the top, under which she wears black thigh-high socks.
Loyalty: Kiyoka is loyal to herself, and loosely to Florence. Melvin, on the other hand, is loyal to absolutely nothing but himself.
Occupation: Vigilante.
Personality: Kiyoka comes out to most as an abrasive, rude, and self-absorbed bitch with no good will for anybody. This uncaring side of her hides and protects the disillusioned child that she is, as deep inside she only wished for her relations to get better, neither wanting to be exploited nor to kill.
While Kiyoka is not the finest person, Melvin is at a whole other level: he is smug, sadistic, cruel, and delights in bringing pain and misery to others. While he will enjoy his fair share of suffering, he tends to get annoyed at people who deny him whatever he wants, and indulge in disproportionate punishment.
Weaponry: A red spear with a pole of 130 cm and a ruby-like spearhead around 25 cm long. It hosts Melvin's soul and dates back to the Dark War.
Abilities:- Spear Wielding: Both Kiyoka and Melvin know how to use a spear for good enough effect to handle most opponents alone. Kiyoka wields the spear much better than Melvin, but lacks his extra strength.
- Ruby Scorcher: Kiyoka can make her spear emit red energy, usually around the spearhead or as beams. When it happens, the spearhead glows and whoever gets touched by the energy will feel something akin to burning for seconds. Melvin is much more proficient at using the spear's abilities, the energy is thicker (meaning it's much more resilient and its effects are stronger), and Melvin can use attacks that Kiyoka cannot.
- Immunity to Lasting Damage (Melvin-only): While Melvin is the dominant soul, everything that causes pain other than collisions is transmitted to Kiyoka, meaning Melvin will not feel any of it.
History: Kiyoka grew a relatively normal childhood in the eyes of many she knew, attending school much like any girl. However, once she was home, the façade dropped: her family was keeping ancient items from soon after the Dark War, rumored to hold departed souls (which turned out to be true). Kiyoka's duty as the only descendant of the Amenomiya was to collect as many of these as possible, and suffer at her tenth anniversary the tattooing of a map on her right arm while conscious. This turned out to be too much for the little girl, who raged against her parents, and got sent to her room by force. The adolescent Kiyoka was more and more tempted to flee away from her family, the only thing holding her in was the family's heirloom she was destined to: a spear with 'unexplained' powers. The instant she hit 13 years old, she received the spear, and the moment she was about to finally call her whole family out, the sheer emotional unleashing awoke the spirit of the spear, Melvin, who took over her body and killed the whole family, without any survivor to speak of it., much to Kiyoka's despair, as she only wished to teach her parents a good lesson. Without a home, Kiyoka left the ruins to start working as a homeless vigilante to forget about her former life. With the spear's support, she was able to earn a living, taking profit from Kagutsuchi's high criminality to earn more money, going so far sometimes as to beat up fellow vigilantes so that they don't get her bounties by stealing on the criminals she lets roam until she needs money.
After a year or two of hunting bounties, Melvin eventually came to manifest himself to Kiyoka again, to tell her the appearance of another of the objects her family used to worship. Hesitant at first, Kiyoka finally gave in to curiosity and got the object's location from Melvin. It was coming towards her. Determined to know about that 'Florence' that Melvin was talking about, Kiyoka came to met the girl that was hosting her, and jumped her from behind, hopelessly beating her up in a matter of minutes. Quickly enough, Florence had come out, like if it was to protect her host from a lethal blow. Fascinated by the spirit of the ring, Kiyoka started planning to take over the NOL (and the world by proxy) by killing the Imperator. The encounter did not last though, as the host, Youna Amanogawa, had woken up again. Persuading her that teaming up would be the best option, Kiyoka got to stay near the one that she felt so much awe for, while Melvin, frustrated from missing out on one of his fellows, patiently waits for Kiyoka's next moment of fragility as the girls keep on hunting bounties in the lower sections of Kagutsuchi.
