Appearance: Jin is an average-height man with a rather slim build. He has blonde hair that extends to his neck, and green eyes. He wears the standard NOL uniform, which consists of a blue vest with a red inside and gold trimmings, complete with buttons shaped like crosses and half-sleeves with a cross-shaped metallic tip that can be used as a weapon. He also wears boots assorted to his blue uniform, with a golden cross on the upper side, and white gloves. Under it, he wears a white japanese-style shirt, and even under that, he wears a tight black turtleneck and tight black leggings.
Loyalty: The NOL, though rather loosely at that. He doesn't really care about stuff like that anyway.
Personality: Jin is an arrogant, dead-serious, cold and aloof person, who doesn't even remotely care about friendship and society. An environment of hatred and distrust made him spiteful and selfish. Even his work does not interest him in the least, given that he's been forced into this job, and he does not make any effort to both do the job and hide his dissatisfaction of it. This results in him coming across as the biggest douchebag in the entire NOL organization (though, given Terumi exists, this isn't quite true) and so despite his usually polite speech patterns and his essentially well-meaning drive. He would screw the rules to do what he considers right, but that goes utterly unnoticed.
What doesn't get to everyone's eyes, though, is his homoerotically murderous fixation on Ragna. Whenever he talks about him, his eyes and mouth suddenly widen, sign that he is emotionally involved. Of course, that doesn't happen often, but during this kind of phases, he will murder anyone in his sight, believing them to be obstacles between him and his brother. This is caused by Yukianesa furthering his feelings of jealousy and his inner Power of Order marking Ragna's Azure as a danger to the world. This almost gay-for-Ragna is in fact Jin's care for his and his desire to see him again cranked up also by Yukianesa.
Other persons to attract abnormal behavior are his direct subordinate Noel Vermillion and (he doesn't know yet) Nu. Whenever face-to-face with one of these two, he feels like eradicating them on the spot, insulting them all the way. This is also caused by his Power of Order, not that he even knows of it. He'd say he just hates them for no reason.
Weaponry: Nox Nyctores : Mucro Algesco - Yukianesa
The form of this cursed weapon is a sword with a blade entirely made of unmelting ice. It allows him to create ice that erodes away all forms of life.
It also violently amplifies Jin's feelings, making him insane and murderous for the slightest hint of hate he'd have had while not under its influence.
Abilities: Using, Yukianesa, Jin can create different structures of ice to encase his enemies or just hurt them in the most straightforward way possible.
History: When he was a child, Jin lived in a church with his brother Ragna and his sister Saya; and their caretaker, Caelica Mercury. Jin was very pushy in playing with Ragna and that pissed the older brother off. It didn't go further than that until Saya became sickly, taking away all of Ragna's attention in one go. Growing jealous and hateful of Saya, he accepted when Terumi offered him to pay them back. Possessed by the evil spirit, Jin cut off Ragna's arm and burned the church with abnormal glee, and ran away.
Though, he doesn't remember most of it. Afterwards, he was adopted by the noble Kisaragi family, of the Duodecim. He soon was distinguished as the best of all of them, outdoing his adoptive brothers in all aspects.
In the Academy, he found friends in Tsubaki Yayoi, Makoto Nanaya, and Noel Vermillion -- though his interest in Tsubaki is of another nature and he felt odd towards Noel because she resembled Saya.
Eventually, he graduated with flying colors and soon enough went away to lead an attack on the Ikaruga Federation. His appearance all but ended the war since in two days, it was over with Jin using Yukianesa to freeze Tenjou dead. After that, Jin went on a downward spiral, even though only he felt that way, he was kicked upstairs to the rank of Major, essentially stuck in paperwork all day long, and feeling empty. He pretty often would leave the work to Noel Vermillion, then his direct subordinate, whom he grew to hate more and more. Upon hearing of a certain "Ragna the Bloodedge", Jin immediately feels strange glee. Pushed around by his feelings, Jin hastily ends for Kagutsuchi.

"Major Kisaragi!"
Hearing the plain male voice, Jin stopped in his track. He was in a bad mood, so whoever called him right now would be getting kicked or killed, whichever he thought fitting...
"What are you doing here? I'll pass it around if you tell me where I could find Lieutenant Loke-
- I don't know, and I don't care. Cease disturbing me for naught and go find somebody who even gives a damn."
He was called just to find out where one of the dorks who were called his adoptive brothers was? And to think I was done with the rubbish..., the Major mused to himself.
"I'm so telling the guys above that you're acting against the rules an--
- Screw the rules, I have this!" Unsheathing Yukianesa, an angry Jin engaged the hostilities, planting Yukianesa in the ground. Soon, a pillar of ice rose, utterly covering the poor underling who had wasted his precious time. "And that's what you get for getting in the way, you worthless idiot."
Jin walked again freely in the Kagutsuchi Cathedral, free of thinking to himself about how he would meet and kill his brother.
