Name: Takeru Oda (Einhardt)
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Race: Half-Vampire Human (Father is a vampire, mother is a human)
Appearance: His spiky/wavy hair is considered an oddity: from the front, he looks like a blonde, complete with an ahoge (traits from his father), while the back is clearly as black as the night sky (from his mom). His eyes are a deep crimson, his complexion pale, and the features of his face suggesting that he looks rather young for his age due to his vampiric heritage.
His thin, but well-toned frame is clothed in a red undershirt he wears over a white longsleeved polo, which in turn is covered by a black blazer with gold trimmings on the side. Around his waist he wears two over-sized belts; one of them is fastened while the other is not. He wears black slacks and sneakers as his bottoms.
Around his neck, he wears a red neck tie given to him by Mizuki on his fifteenth birthday. As a result, he's cherished it ever since.

Loyalty: His little sister, Mizuki.
Personality: Takeru is, at first glance, a mellow, easy-going fellow who would love nothing more than a relaxing stroll along the town. He enjoys a good steak from time to time (especially if it's rare) and generally enjoys the company of his friends. He can be loyal to a fault, especially if you do something he may find extremely nice of you. He also believes in sticking to your guns no matter what, and will respect a person who stays true to himself.
In battle, his care-free attitude leaves him if he sees that you are an opponent worthy of his time. From there he becomes determined to prove himself while enjoying the thrill battling a powerful opponent gives him. He gives it his all when facing tough opponents and if you respond in kind, you'll have earned his respect. He does have a tendency to go overboard with the bloodlust, often finding very hard to stop once he gets started. Many suspect that this has to do with Muramasa.
He bears some resentment towards his father for his disappearance; while it's not a burning hatred, he thinks that his dad better have a good reason for not showing up. As for his heritage, he's particularly cool with it. In fact, he thinks being a half-vampire ain't so bad, if not for the craving for blood.
His greatest strength, as well as his greatest weakness, is his love for his ill, wheel-chair confined sister Mizuki. He always makes it a point to use some of his earnings from his bounties (if he's not paying for her hospital bills) to do nice things for her, like take her out to a fancy dinner or buy her a nice little gift. To say that she's his greatest source of strength is an understatement; as long as he knows that she's there believing in him, he feels he can do anything.
However, this also means that hell will come to you should you decide to harm her. Unfortunately, he can also be easily manipulated in regards to her well-being, like say, you legitimately found a cure for her condition or something of the like.
Weaponry: Wields the Ars Armagus Muramasa, a no-dachi with a six foot, blood red blade with no guard and a long, black hilt with gold trimmings on both ends. He can augment his sword with seithr, which in turn increases the blade's cutting power and allows it to project energy in the form of a blood-red mist, but it drains his stamina over time.
Unfortunately, as with all armagus, Muramasa comes with a rather negative effect. It amplifies the wielder's hunger for battle (much like the namesake blade of old), at times causing the wielder to be unable to stop himself.
Abilities: As a half-vampire, Takeru enjoys the benefits such as enhanced strength, endurance, speed and reflexes. He does, however, possess a mild case of blood thirst, which he can keep contained due to his indomitable will.
He was trained in the art of the sword by his father starting from the age of nine, learning the basics as well as some of his father's techniques, such as Scarlet Fang, before his twelfth birthday. Since he disappeared, he was not able to learn the more complex moves, so he made do with what he had while practicing endlessly, developing his own techniques (such as his Astral Finish) in the process. As a result, his sword skills are at such a level that while he could not match Jin in terms of technique, but he can probably go toe-to-toe with opponents such as Tsubaki.
As for his knowledge in Ars, his father was kind enough to teach him the basics as well before his disappearance. His aptitude for ars can be described as this: he's extremely proficient in one branch (the one that deals with Ars Armagus), but woefully average on the other branches. As such, he has difficulty in using even the most basic Healing ars. This, however, makes him proficient in using Muramasa and, in general, most Ars Armagus.
His Drive Attack, Scarlet Fang, causes Takeru to thrust Muramasa forward with a burst of speed with the blade, coated with seithr (manifested in a blood red mist), usually aiming for the heart. It can be charged for longer range and damage, but it will drain his stamina considerably.
His other attacks include Killer Buzzsaw, wherein he sends a razor sharp disk made of seithr at the enemy with a swing of his sword, and sends it towards the target, and Buster Gorgon, an attack where he swings Muramasa in an upward stroke, jumping up with his opponent for increased momentum.
--Distortion Drives--Gae Bolg - A more powerful version of Scarlet Fang, Takeru gathers a large amount seithr before thrusting for the heart of the opponent in a greater burst of speed. The move, however, does have it's limitations; Once Takeru gets going, he cannot stop himself nor change his target mid-thrust. He CAN redirect it, but it will cause severe strain on his sword arm.
Killer Carnival - Takeru spins on his heel rapidly like a top with Muramasa extended. The seithr then manifests in a twister of red petals that threatens to shred any within it's radius.
Breaker Gorgon - Like with Buster Gorgon, he gathers seithr and launches his opponent into the air with a jumping upward slash. What he does next, however, is that he slashes his opponent three times before sending him/her crashing down with a more powerful 4th slash.
--Astral Finish--Excalibur Morgan - Takeru begins his Astral Heat by thrusting at his opponent not to kill, but to stagger. He takes advantage of this opening by charging Muramasa to full power, then unleashing it all with one powerful downward slash which emits a wave that obliterates anything within it's path. This, however, leaves him completely exhausted, and should he miss, things may end badly.
History: Takeru Oda was born to a Claudius Einhardt, a vampire and Misaki Oda, a human. He and his family, which included his sister Mizuki, lived relatively peaceful lives in Kagutsuchi, his father taking up a job as a vigilante while his mother stayed home to tend to the kids.
Things had turned sour for Takeru a month after the age of twelve; Claudius was out on a job when he suddenly disappeared without a trace. The only thing that could be found of him was his Ars Armagus. Around that same time, his mother fell ill due to an unknown illness. It's symptoms included coughing up of blood and what seemed to be traces of seithr in her blood stream.
Takeru then became the sole breadwinner, taking up odd jobs while Mizuki took care of Misaki day and night. Fortunately, their father's savings from his various bounties managed to keep them afloat, if only barely.
He was angry, angry that his father disappeared when they needed him the most, to the point that he discarded his surname and took up his mother's maiden name, It was with that rage he trained, enhancing what little his father had the chance to teach him in both swordplay and ars.
Misaki fought for two whole years, but eventually succumbed to her illness and passed away. Unfortunately, the sibling's misfortunes weren't over; as it turns out, Mizuki had contracted the disease due to her close proximity, as well as the fact that tending to their mother night and day fatigued her greatly.
Fortunately, her half-vampire heritage proved to be a boon, as it proved to be factor in keeping her alive. As such, she was confined to the nearest hospital and has been cared for there ever since. It was at that point Takeru focused all his efforts on training for a year, solely depending on their father's savings from his missions to keep them afloat.
After his fifteenth birthday, he registered himself as a vigilante as a culmination of his training, took up his father's Ars Armagus Muramasa and proceeded to take the fight to criminals, capturing bounties and using his earnings to pay for Mizuki's hospital bills.
It was his third year as a vigilante when he heard that Ragna the Bloodedge was heading for Kagutsuchi. Knowing full well how much the man was worth (Enough to buy a small country indeed!), Takeru had joined many others on the hunt. He believes that if he can earn that bounty, Mizuki's hospital bills will be covered for life.
Who knows? Maybe he might find a cure along the way...

"So that's where you've been hiding."Takeru strode along the entrance of the criminal's hideout, his goon's weapons trailed on him as the boy hefted the long, blood red no-dachi known as the Ars Armagus Muramasa on his shoulder with a grin.
"What? You think those guns will stop me?""G-g-g..." The criminal whose bounty Takeru came to claim was shaking in fear as the boy appeared to be stalking him, his steps slow as he moved ever closer to his prey.
"We can do this the easy way or the hard way." The boy sighed as he got close enough to be within firing range. As an answer, the target frantically screamed
"GET HIM! GET HIM!". This caused all the men to pull their triggers, causing him to sigh as he brought his Armagus to bear.
"Hard way it is, then. Unleashing Armagus!"
"Oniichan!""Hey there!" Takeru smiled as he greeted his little sister. His suit was a little torn, but otherwise he was fine. After all, it's nothing a good tailor couldn't fix.
"How did your job go?""As usual, I kicked ass!" The boy grinned as he produced a box of chocolates he bought for her earlier.
"Ooh! Can you tell me how it went?""Certainly!" He grinned as he told away. It was moment like these he cherished the most, these fleeting but wonderful times he shared with his only family.
