Name: Iron Tager
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown. Doesn't remember.
Race: Cyborg, has some demon genetic material.
Appearance: Tager is an immense, muscular, and intimidating figure, standing at no less than 7 feet and 10 inches. His orange skin and his large stature gained him the moniker "Red Devil". His hair is spiky and black, except a strand of black hair on the left side of his head. His eyes are hidden by his orange shades.
Clothing of choice: Tager being almost always on mission, he is only seen wearing one outfit: a red and orange sleeveless tight shirt with two zippers. The shirt has a darker red cross on the back, the center of which also has a metallic screw-like protrusion. He also wears a red skirt-like cloth with metallic pads on the sides, held together by a metallic belt. His hands are adorned with giant gauntlets, which double as his weapons; and he wears brown boots, with a red toeline made of steel.
Loyalty: Sector Seven, though his undying loyalty belongs to Kokonoe, whom he owes his life to.
Occupation: Sector Seven Field Operative. He's also a professor, but he does much more field work than actual backstage activity.
Personality: Tager is an extremely calm, mature, and serious person. Belying his nickname and its fearsome undertones, he is a generally gentle and collected individual who thinks twice (or more) before acting, and dislikes unnecessary violence.
Even though he his extremely loyal to Kokonoe and obeys her most of the time (due to some programming possibly), he will still have his own way and follows his intuitions to her ends if he feels her means and reasoning don't make much sense, such as when she's angry.
On the inside, due to his high intelligence, he is surprisingly sarcastic in pointing out the nonsense of the world around him, but it is a part of him that's safer kept to himself.
Weaponry:
- Magnetic Gauntlets: His gauntlets hide a complex mechanic weapon, that allows to manipulate electricity and magnetism. With those at his disposal, Tager can emit short-ranged bursts of electricity from them, and magnetize targets that come in contact with them when the mechanisms are on. They also have an opposite electrical magnet effect that allows him to draw the targets he magnetized back to him. This ability is rather useful as Tager can't really pursue a target fast enough in battle situations.
- Artificial Causality Engine: Even though this is not as potent as the Idea Engine, Tager's life-drive is at the level of Nox Nyctores, and recognized universally as one, even by said weapons.
Abilities:
- Incredible Strength: Tager has an innate physical strength that far surpasses normal, as he's able to toss even people around with ease. This possibly has to do with his demonic genes.
- High Intellect: Before even being a field agent, Tager is a professor at Sector Seven. This means of course that he has a grasp on the concepts of magnetism and knows almost everything about his own components, but applying this to battle allow him to analyze his opponent's battle strategies and adapt quickly.
History: Not much is known about Tager's past. Even himself, due to the handful of traumatic experiences he had, doesn't recall a good part of it.
What is known is that he was born in Ikaruga, standing with those who have fought against the NOL in the Second War of Magic (aka the Ikarugan Civil War), eventually losing his battles and disappearing once the war was lost.
Afterwards, he entered Sector Seven, as an assault squad operative due to his experience with warfare. Though, on a mission to retrieve the Nox Nyctores Nirvana from Relius Clover when it was exhumed, Tager and his squadmates were torn to shreds by the puppet after it activated. Withdrawing as he was the sole survivor, Tager ran to Kagutsuchi's Sector Seven basement half-dead.
Even though he did die following his heavy injuries, Kokonoe retrieved his body and ran some horrible operations to revive him as a cyborg under her authority. Tager pledged loyalty to her since she he essentially owes his life to her.
After several missions, he was ordered by Kokonoe to investigate in a NOL Branch, to prevent possibly another Murakumo smelting. Given that Murakumo units require absurd firepower to stop, he and the large assault squadron under his orders would have to get on the move before N°13 was created. Unfortunately, Tager arrived late, and the assault played right into Hazama's hands as he proceeded to slaughter the whole squadron single-handedly, heavily injuring Tager in the process and locking a good portion of his memories. Though Tager survived the onslaught, he wasn't exactly unscathed and had to be taken out of there before Ragna the Bloodedge arrived and destroyed the whole city. Out of action for months due to the damage he sustained, Tager is ready only months after, but on Kokonoe's suspicions that fishy things are happening in Kagutsuchi, Tager is sent there to investigate, as well as retrieving Hakumen from there. He also has a secondary target for capture: Ragna the Bloodedge. These objectives in mind, Tager is sent to Kagutsuchi.
