Appearance: Noel is a young green-eyed blonde of short stature, standing at 5'2" (157 cm) and weighing 106 lbs (48 kg). She wears a standard female NOL uniform for her position, which leaves her shoulders, her back, and most of her legs bare, showing her full thigh-highs. She also wears the optional blue beret to tie her almost-waist-length hair.

Personality: Noel is an extremely sweet girl at heart, but she is so shy and self-effacing that she apologizes too often, sometimes for absolutely no reason. She doesn't really dislike meeting people, but this makes her so uneasy that she avoids it whenever it is possible. She also is extremely self-conscious about her lack of breasts, feeling like it makes her inferior to other girls.
She is also easily entranced by things she deems "cute", which includes pandas. If you wish to get her to do anything (like, say, cosplay), just wave an adorable little thing and she'll do as you ask.
While she is extremely shy during social situations, in battle her focus is as clear as day. She is able to fight without hesitation when the situation calls for it, though she'll act with some reluctance if it is against a friend. Whether this is an effect of her Nox Nyctores or her own willpower remains to be seen.
Weaponry: Nox Nyctores ~Arcus Diabolus: Bolverk~
This Nox Nyctores doesn't fire actual bullets; instead it shoots a dimensional collapse at the desired area the barrel is pointing. It can also shape shift into a variety of weapons, such as a minigun during her Distortion Drive "Zero Gun: Fenrir" and into a RPG launcher during "Zero Gun: Thor"
Bolverk also serves a limiter to Noel's emotions. Unlike Yukianesa, however, Bolverk inhibits her negative emotions, explaining why she isn't as unstable as Jin on that end.
Abilities: Under normal circumstances, especially during social ones, Noel is a shrinking violet; always stammering and timid around other people. In battle, however, she is quite capable. Using a mix of gunslinging with Bolverk and a martial art properly described as "Gun-Kata", Noel Vermillion proves to be an agile fighter capable of outmaneuvering slower and larger foes.
While she is unaware of it as of this writing, her abilities as a Murakumo Unit allow her to cross the Boundary. She also possesses the power of the Azure dormant within her, allowing her to see the memories of other people she comes in contact with (among other things) once it awakens.
History: Noel was born on December 25, 2194, as the "Dimensional Boundary Contact Medium n°12", Mu. To prevent her complete smelting, the Nox Nyctores ~Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi~ had been used to wipe Ibukido off the face of the Earth, effectively putting her into stasis. Though, she was found during the Second War of Magic, and was taken in by Edgar and Claire Vermillion of the once noble Vermillion family, that had been recently relegated after Edgar criticized the NOL. During her life with her adoptive parents, Noel found Bolverk when she was attacked in the forest by a monster, like it just came to her.
A few years later, upon finding out the situation of her family, Noel passed the entrance exam to the NOL Military Academy, in the City of Torifune.
Even though her academical and physical aptitude were far from stellar, her Armagus synchronization rate was an absolute record, ensuring her place in the Academy. There she found friends in Tsubaki Yayoi, Makoto Nanaya, and Carl Clover. She also had Jin Kisaragi as an acquaintance and a senior, but he intensely disliked her for reasons that are still unknown to her.
Six months before she would graduate, she was offered a post as a secretary to the newly promoted major to the Praetorian Guard 4th Division's leader, which was none other than Jin Kisaragi himself. Intent on restoring her family's rights, Noel took in the job, but Jin treated her just as bad, if not worse than before.
When Jin left his post to chase after Ragna the Bloodedge by himself, Noel was assigned a mission to bring him back to the NOL Headquarters, with strict interdiction to never engage Ragna the Bloodedge in the case she should run into him.

Noel Vermillion stood before the SS Class Criminal, her heart racing in a tempestuous tempo and sweat coating her brow. It didn't take a rocket scientist to see that she was scared, and for a good reason; this man took down NOL bases with trained personnel all by his lonesome!
Yes, she had orders to NEVER engage Ragna the Bloodedge should she ever cross paths, to immediately report to NOL HQ should she ever cross paths with him. Yet, she found that she couldn't, even if she tried.
"If I capture him, he can help me find Major Kisaragi." She reasoned within the halls of her mind "He disappeared after I gave him my report..."
With a deep breath, she drew Bolverk, the twin handguns twirled dexterously in her hand. She pointed them at her opponent, refusing to back down despite the difference in strengths. If she can capture the infamous Grim Reaper, maybe she'll be one step closer to finding the Major.
"You're...You're under arrest!"
