Appearance: Valkenhayn is the spitting image of an elderly butler: He wears a dark, aquamarine suit adorned with gold trimming. His silver mane is tied in a pony tail that is bound by a single pink ribbon given to him by his mistress Rachel. As a result, he cherishes it dearly.
In his wolf and werewolf forms, his shaggy silver mane covers his entire body while the pink bow is tied around his tail.
Personality: This werewolf is quite the sophisticated gentleman, as he is polite and courteous at all times. He also displays nerves of steel, his calm demeanor only ruffled whenever the honor of House Alucard is called into question. Of course, it need not be said that his devotion to his lady Rachel is astounding.
This provides a distinct contrast to his fighting style, in which the savagery of his kind is displayed in all it's glory. Especially when up against his rival, Relius Clover.
Loyalty: To Rachel Alucard
Weaponry: None. He fights with fang and claw!
Abilities: As one of the Six Heroes, Valkenhayn's battle prowess is not to be doubted. He was the only one among them who fought the Black Beast with his own two hands, a feat considered legendary.
His strikes are quick and vicious, fully displaying the fierce predator he is. When push comes to shove, he can tap into his heritage and transform into a full wolf or a monstrous form akin to the werewolf stories of old.
He somehow appears to be capable of opening portals much like his mistress.
History: Valkenhayn has been in service to the Alucard family since the time of Rachel's father, Clavis. He once fought the vampire and, as a result of his satisfaction, they became steadfast friends.
By the time the Black Beast came around, he joined the fight against the abomination at his master's bidding. It is worthy of note that while the other five fought with Nox Nyctores, he contributed with naught but his fists and natural abilities.
It was after Clavis disappeared that he began his service to his lady Rachel. Unfortunately, he was watching over her as she slept by the time Yuuki Terumi betrayed them all, and was unable to save the lives of Trinity Glassfield and Nine as a result.
Years have passed since he started working for Rachel, having met many interesting individuals along the way. This brings us to now, to the events that went down in Kagutsuchi. With the return of their hated foe, Yuuki Terumi, as well as his rival Relius Clover, Valkenhayn R. Hellsing remains Rachel's loyal servant, ready to be the executor of her will.
