She will also shrug off attacks using fire, as she can make them come right back at her opponent. Although she usually has no difficulty playing with fire, long manipulation of big quantities of fire will take a lot of energy out of her, as will creating extreme-heat flames.
Also, due to her 150 years in the Boundary, Kuon suffers from something akin to resurrection sickness: she has trouble tapping into her greatest powers and may randomly get hit with brief hypo-tension.
History: Kuon was born on September 21st, 2032 in the somewhat aristocratic Shutleheim family. She would have lived a fairly normal childhood, if not for the discovery of her latent fire powers during her teenage years, that caused her to join the Magic Guild. Nevertheless, she studied as a normal girl, living under the shadow of her prodigious brother, Sechs of the Ten Saints. When she was 17, and still training in fire magic to surpass her brother, she got caught up in the events surrounding serial mage killer Ripper's arrival in the vicinity of Hakuhô North Academy, that ended up with his death and Sechs's, among others.
Kuon's life would go on, but years later, in a strange turn of events, her turbulent behavior caused her would-be demise, as she came too close to a Cauldron while studying it, and got swallowed by it. Hopefully, Tôya tried his best to save her by using as much power as he could handle from the Boundary itself, which, while it did not bring her back, allowed her to keep her body and mind intact in the Boundary, inside a cocoon made out of extremely dense seithr.
This came at a big price, though, for Kuon was unable to see, hear, touch, or smell anything, the only thing that she could do is think, and so she did. It lasted for an eternity, and eventually, Es would enter the Boundary herself. This would come to be Kuon's luck as when Es left the Boundary, she unwittingly provoked Kuon's own escape.
Out of the Boundary, Kuon discovered the world as it was now: filled with seithr and dominated by the Novus Orbis Librarium, that monopolized the Armagus the Magic Guild had created. Determined to restore justice in her own way, Kuon prepares to make a big impact on the organization, intent on profiting from the existence of a better-known criminal than she would become in the name of Ragna the Bloodedge.
